The first vice chancellor of Gujarat Ayurved University. He had been in the team of Central Council of Indian Medicine & Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences. Who have published around 45 books and served Ayurveda to many countries in the world. Dr. Thakar received Ayurveda Ratna award by the president of India for his admirable research in Ayurveda.
